This Catholic Foundation, guided by the mission and rooted in the tradition of the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, is a catalyst for systemic change by committing resources and working collaboratively with others to promote physical, mental, spiritual, societal, and cultural well-being in communities served. Families USA is a national nonprofit, non-partisan organization dedicated to the achievement of high-quality, affordable health care for all Americans. Florida CHAIN is a statewide network organization dedicated to improving the health of all Floridians by promoting sustainable access to affordable, effective health care. Activities include advocacy training, coalition building, communications, media campaigns, policy expertise, and technical assistance to healthcare focused organizations. Florida Philanthropic Network is a statewide association of grantmakers working to strengthen philanthropy through research, education and public policy. Health Information Resource Database (NHIC) is a health information referral service sponsored by the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion. NHIC puts health professionals and consumers who have health questions in touch with those organizations that are best able to provide answers. Healthy People 2020 is the prevention agenda for the Nation. It is a statement of national health objectives designed to identify the most significant preventable threats to health and to establish national goals to reduce these threats. Hillsborough County Health and Human Services (Health Plan) Hillsborough County provides residents living at or below the poverty level access to health care. Our award-winning program, the Hillsborough Health Care Plan (HCHCP) also known as Hillsborough HealthCare, actually is making it happen by ensuring that all Hillsborough County residents have access to quality medical care. Pinellas County Human Services: Creating solutions for a stronger community by serving those most in need since 1955. Remaking American Medicine (RAM) was created to help inspire, motivate and connect people and institutions that are dedicated to improving health care quality. The purpose of the RAM campaign is to help individuals and organizations get involved in local coalition efforts leading up to the national broadcast of Remaking American Medicine television series. On WEDU PBS Thursday Oct.26 at 10pm Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Established in 1972, The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, based in Princeton, N.J. is the largest philanthropy devoted exclusively to health and health care in the United States. |

Health is a primary public good that benefits families, communities, employers, businesses, and our country. The Tampa Bay Healthcare Collaborative believes that health care is a basic human right necessary for stable and productive communities.
Our Vision is to develop culturally competent healthcare organizations in the Tampa Bay area.
Our Volunteer Recruitment committee has developed the "I Can Help Now" program and we continue to build upon our awareness campaigns, which includes the final phase of this website. The collaborative is utilizing media created and designed by our committee. This program continues to attract medical professionals to our group of free clinics in the Tampa Bay area.
