 MembershipMembership is open to any organization in Florida that has an interest in the mission and vision of TBHC. Although membership is free, participation is vital to your organization being a meaningful part of TBHC’s efforts. TBHC strives to include all stakeholders in creating healthy communities. As we build our collaborative, we seek the input, feedback, and participation of others in the community in working together toward common goals. We encourage government, business, concerned citizens, and others to contact us to explore areas of mutual interest and concern. Members of the collaborative and from the community attend a day of speakers and planning to raise awareness of uninsured and underserved populations in Tampa Bay. TBHC provides opportunities for individuals, professionals, consumers, and groups to work together to improve the availability and quality of primary health and human services in the Tampa Bay region. Only an involved and active membership will ensure the success of TBHC. Health is a primary public good that benefits families, communities, employers, businesses, and our country. The Tampa Bay Healthcare Collaborative believes that health care is a basic human right necessary for stable and productive communities.
Our Vision is to develop culturally competent healthcare organizations in the Tampa Bay area.
Our Volunteer Recruitment committee has developed the "I Can Help Now" program and we continue to build upon our awareness campaigns, which includes the final phase of this website. The collaborative is utilizing media created and designed by our committee. This program continues to attract medical professionals to our group of free clinics in the Tampa Bay area.
