Free & Charitable Clinics
The Outreach Clinic is an integral part of the healthcare system in the greater Brandon community. Our clinic was started in 1989 with the goal of promoting health and wellness by providing quality healthcare services, at no charge, to people without access to basic care.
The BRIDGE Healthcare Clinic is a student-run free clinic located at the University of South Florida right next to the University Area Community. BRIDGE stands for Building Relationships and Initiatives Dedicated to Gaining Equality. Our goal is to create a health facility where patients are treated compassionately and cared for through the collaboration of medicine, physical therapy, social work, public health, and pharmacy providers. We believe a healthy community is a prosperous community, and we will work alongside the people of the University Area Community to improve their well being.
The Clearwater Free Clinic has provided problem oriented health care to low-income uninsured residents of upper Pinellas County by means of office visits, medications, lab work, x-rays, and specialty referrals. The Clinic, a volunteer driven non-profit, non-government medical facility, provides primary health care at no cost to those who do not qualify for government assistance and who cannot afford private medical care.
The St. Pete Free Clinic is a multi-service, independent, not-for-profit human services agency providing our community neighbors assistance with food, shelter and health care. We have been caring for the underserved facing temporary emergency needs throughout Pinellas County since 1970.
The Free Clinic is comprised of eight programs that are a beacon of hope for families and individuals who fall through the crack of existing systems and services.
The Willa Carson Health and Wellness Center (WCHWC), a not for profit healthcare clinic located in the heart of Clearwater. The Center is your source for better health delivering basic, high-quality medical services in a friendly caring environment to the uninsured and low-income. The Center serves all of Pinellas County with North Greenwood being our primary focus.
The Specialty Center at Health Park is a multi-disciplinary outpatient clinic serving Hillsborough County. The 24 specialty clinics provide follow-up care and evaluations on physician referrals from inpatient discharges, emergency room visits, and other primary care clinics and private physicians. Appointments are necessary and a referral from a Primary Care Physician is required.
The Judeo Christian Health Clinic holds the belief that we should do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God, The Judeo Christian Health Clinic provides free, quality, timely and compassionate health care to medically indigent residents of the Tampa Bay area who have no other resources for their health care needs.
Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs)
Community Health Centers of Pinellas is a not-for-profit health care organization, has been providing affordable, quality primary health care services to the residents of Pinellas County for nearly 30 years. Our services include: Family Practice, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Dental Care. Community Health Centers of Pinellas, Inc. has ten (10) healthcare facilities throughout Pinellas County and offers affordable healthcare to a wide range of individuals and families that would not otherwise have access to medical care. Community Health Centers of Pinellas offers quality, affordable healthcare. We accept most major insurances and offer discounts based on household income.

The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay brings help, hope and healing to people facing serious life challenges or trauma resulting from sexual assault, suicidal thoughts, domestic violence, financial distress or emotional or situational problems.

The Greater Tampa Bay Oral Health Coalition is a private, non-profit organization, 501(c)(3), now 4 years strong, with a mission is to improve the oral health of residents living in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. Our vision is to advocate and account for evidence based oral health practices, increase oral health literacy and to provide support for direct dental services.
The Healthy Start Coalition of Hillsborough is a private, non-profit maternal and child health organization dedicated to reducing Hillsborough County’s infant mortality rate and improving the health of pregnant women. Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of pregnant women, children and families in Hillsborough County.
The Healthy Start Coalition of Pinellas is a program that offers pregnant women, infants, and young children services that promote healthy pregnancies and healthy babies. Most Healthy Start services are provided at no cost to families. Healthy Start services are provided in the comfort of a family’s home and at some obstetric offices. These services include: care coordination, home visiting services, breastfeeding education and support, childbirth education, parenting support, smoking cessation, nutritional care, and other services. The Healthy Start Coalition of Pinellas is one of thirty-one coalitions throughout Florida. It is a community based, private, non-profit organization focused on improving the health and well being of pregnant women, their children and families.
The Hillsborough County Health Plan provides residents living at or below the poverty level access to health care through the award-winning Hillsborough County Health Care Plan (HCHCP or Hillsborough Health Care.)
The Pinellas County Health Program will work with you to maintain a healthy lifestyle and coordinate health services. The professionals working in your Medical Home care about you and look forward to helping you live a healthier life. In addition, your Medical Home provides easy access to medical staff through same-day office appointments and some locations are open in the evening or on Saturdays.
Tampa Bay Oral Health Coalitions have a mission is to positively impact the lives of residents in these counties by connecting the community with resources to increase access to care, improve oral health education, and increase public awareness through local advocacy.
