Hillsborough County Disaster Planning Guide was developed to provide preparedness information for a variety of hazards that impact the residents of Tampa Bay: hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, hazardous materials, and terrorism. The guides contain hurricane evacuation zone maps for the coastal counties in the Tampa Bay area. The Hillsborough County Disaster Planning Guide is also available in Spanish.
Pinellas County Emergency Management – The Department of Emergency Management provides “the framework and mechanism for disaster response and recovery for the entire County.” This resources provides a wealth of information for Pinellas residents to survive the storm including Know Your Evacuation Zone, Preparation Checklists, Preparation for individuals with Special Needs, Shelter Options, how to prepare for the storm, and recovery after the storm.
Florida Disaster – Florida Division of Emergency Management – Working together to ensure that Florida is prepared to respond to emergencies, recover from them, and mitigate against their impacts
Disaster Supply Kit- Contains a list of items to pack in a disaster supply kit.

The Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council is an association of local governments and gubernatorial representatives whose mission is to serve our citizens and member governments by providing a forum to foster communication, coordination, and collaboration in identifying and addressing issues and needs regionally.
