Leverage Our Collective Strengths at the TBHC Collaborate Unconference
The results of the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) conducted across counties showed that behavioral/mental health, exercise and nutrition, and access to services are prioritized health issues in the Tampa Bay region. Since then, multiple organizations have diligently created initiatives to address these issues with the additional goal of improving health equity. With multiple initiatives, however, collaboration efforts have resulted in duplicate successes without recorded processes. Recognizing that there are opportunities to expand reach, leverage resources, and improve health equity through collaborative efforts, this event is designed to promote and document efficient collaboration among Tampa Bay organizations.
The Collaboration Impact Council is hosting the TBHC Collaborate Unconference to provide organizations in Tampa Bay the opportunity to collaborate on improving health equity in our region. Following the “unconference” model, this virtual event offers a space for attendees to interact in self-selected groups to ensure participants address their specific needs. We selected the 3 highest prioritized areas per the latest CHNA that were mutual in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties: 1) behavioral and mental health, 2) exercise and nutrition, and 3) access to services. Because of the work you do, we are inviting you to this unconference to create your own peer-to-peer sessions and build collaborative opportunities within your CHNA focus area.
What You’ll Experience:
- Discover successes, challenges, and opportunities to leverage our collective strengths from leaders in the space.
- Frame the critical issues, learn about current initiatives, and spark new collaborations in the community.
- Leave with an actionable step for prompt collaboration with other attendees of the Collaborate Unconference.
Leaders representing the CHNA areas are the following:
