Join us for the TBHC Quarterly Meeting

The Collaborative has a new vision:
Be the leading catalyst for sparking movement on health equity in Tampa Bay.


The TBHC member-led Health Equity Committee has organized this opportunity for you to  hear about current trends, receive information and resources to help you take action, and share best practices through networking.

Part 1: Cultural & Linguistic Needs Panel Discussion
In alignment with the TBHC vision, the upcoming Quarterly Meeting, hosted by the Health Equity Committee, will provide an opportunity to hear from a unique panel of individuals with a variety of perspectives on cultural and linguistic competency. Meeting attendees will gain an understanding of the cultural and linguistic needs of our community and how to ensure an inclusive and welcoming environment. This discussion will lead the collaborative members to spark action and make an impact in health equity in Tampa Bay. Registration required.*

Dr. Frahan Malik, DO – Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, Cardiac Intensive Care

Marina Habib, Community Outreach Manager, Special Olympics Florida
Yardis Garcia, Juvenile Welfare Board representing the Hispanic Community

Part 2: Launch of Health Equity Resource Exchange
After the meeting, join us for a Brown Bag Lunch (which is now a hot lunch – see note below) hosted by the committee. Together we will view a selection from the revamped Health Equity Resource Exchange and engage in targeted discussion over lunch. When you register please indicate if you will staying for the lunch.

Thank you to our generous host who will be providing the meeting space, a make your own Yogurt Parfait for breakfast (also a Vegan option), as well as a yummy hot lunch for our “Brown Bag Lunch.” Please send a separate email to info@tampabayhealth.org if you will definitely be staying for lunch.

BMS has strict security procedures. Your cooperation is appreciated by registering in advance, and arriving early to help with these check in procedures after which you can enjoy breakfast and network with other attendees.
