Lori James serves as the Chief Development Officer for the Tampa Bay Healthcare Collaborative, a membership-based, non-profit organization that works to promote and advance the health and wellness of those underserved through community collaborations. In this role, Lori is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing strategies to develop donors and contributions to support the mission of the organization. Additionally, Lori works to create short and long-term activities to ensure the growth and sustainability of the organization. As a solid programmatic strategist, Lori enjoys developing relationships with individuals to collaborate and coordinate activities that will benefit the community at large around all aspects of health and wellness.
Previous experience includes working as a Leadership Development Administrator, Grant Coordinator, Homeless Education Liaison, and Educator for a local school District. She was also the initial Neighborhood Service Center Director for a local community, implementing the Federal Weed and Seed Initiative, as well as worked as a Community Organizer under a Federal Community Partnership grant. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Florida, and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Florida State University College of Law.
Lori is actively involved in her local church and the community and enjoys reading, shopping and spending quality time with family and friends.
